TCC™ Thermo-Ceramic Coating Technology

ISCT’s Thermo-Ceramic Coating™ (TCC™) is an advanced infrared-reflective and emissive ceramic coating for industrial furnaces, kilns, ovens, boilers, and pipelines. Applied to the interior walls, it dramatically improves heat transfer efficiency, reducing fuel consumption by 8–10% minimum on every installation.

Technical Specifications

  • Emissivity: 0.92 (vs 0.3–0.5 for bare refractory)
  • Operating temperature range: −18°C to 1800°C
  • Application thickness: 200–250 microns
  • Durability: 5+ years per application
  • Application downtime: 3–4 days
  • Guaranteed energy savings: minimum 8–10%, up to 36% on select equipment

How TCC™ Works

TCC™ is applied to the interior surface of furnace walls and roofs. The high-emissivity ceramic microspheres absorb and re-radiate heat uniformly, reducing radiant heat loss through the refractory by up to 90%. The result is faster heat-up times, more uniform temperature distribution, and significantly lower fuel consumption.

Product Line

TCC™ 400: For ovens, dryers, and equipment up to 400°C. TCC™ 600: For furnaces, kilns, and boilers up to 600°C. TCC™ 1200: For high-temperature processes up to 1800°C including glass, steel, and cement kilns.
